Founded in 1985 as an engineering firm by Dr. Patrick K. Sullivan, Oceanit has quickly established a reputation for developing innovative solutions in the areas of aerospace, energy, engineering, information systems, life sciences, and manufacturing. On November 23rd, Oceanit officially recognized its anniversary with an event to celebrate 30 years of innovation.

Guests were invited to the Oceanit’s headquarters to visit exhibits and displays demonstrating how the firm’s advanced technology research and development is reshaping the global landscape and solving important challenges to make the world a better place. Photos of some of the demonstrations featured at the event can be viewed on Oceanit’s Facebook page. In its 30 years of business in Hawaii, Oceanit has worked to build the local technology industry by coaching students in robotics and other science, technology, engineering, and math programs and co-founding Stanford’s Design Thinking program in Hawaii to help businesses and organizations address new technology adoption, product realization, and business processes.
