Oceanit has Hawaii licensed civil engineers, hydrogeologists and planners who have experience and qualifications to provide dam owners expertise and assistance to comply with the new dam safety regulations. Made effective in February of 2012, the adoption of Chapter 13-190.1 Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR) entitled "Dams and Reservoirs" has resulted in the implementation of more stringent safety regulatory oversight for dams and reservoirs within the State of Hawaii. Oceanit teams with licensed geotechnical engineers and structural engineers to provide a full range of engineering services to meet all dam and reservoir regulatory requirements.
