Aerospace: C4ISR


Oceanit has made great advances in the field of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance by developing a variety of revolutionary technologies.

Oceanit develops novel line-of-sight (LOS) antennas that operate from UHF to Ku-band (30MHz – 14.5GHz) utilizing state-of-the-art materials and RF design techniques. The target antenna platforms include traditional LOS systems for terrestrial-based communications as well as phased-array antennas for satellite communications. Design goals include low profile apertures increasing the covertness of the communication platform and size, weight and power (SWaP) reductions that decrease cost and power burdens.

RFIC design engineers are designing custom circuits for C4ISR applications. These include RF front-end receivers and transmitters for broadband communication and reconnaissance and also full Doppler radar systems for sensing personnel through walls. Several prototypes of the Doppler radar system have been developed including a single personnel-carried version and a dispersed system utilizing multiple smaller units in a meshed configuration for improved positional accuracy.
