Today, Oceanit monitors the ocean, streams, and air quality throughout the islands with in-situ instrumentation. We telemeter the data collected by these instruments to the data servers in our offices. Remote devices gather and send information straight to our engineers and scientists at set intervals for real-time or near real-time data collection and analysis. In-situ telemetered instrumentation is an effective way to receive feedback to ensure ecosystems are not being damaged. Alarms can be sent via email, pager, or cell phone (voice and text) so that our clients can address issues in the field immediately. In addition, our clients can access graphs and reports via the World Wide Web so that they can monitor data trends.
