Oceanit’s MERCI (Mobile Emergency Response Command Interface) Cloud product was honored as the recipient of the State Information Technology Recognition Award in Information Communication Technology Innovations. The award was presented at the 2013 National Association of State Chief Information Officers Annual Conference held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
MERCI Cloud is a cloud-based application designed for use before, during and after large-scale disasters. Following a disaster, MERCI Cloud can be used to create a condition report to automatically include geo-located photos and videos. Documentation of ‘baseline’ pre-disaster conditions of property can be saved for future reference and used as evidence of damage for insurance and Federal Emergency Management Agency reimbursement purposes. MERCI Cloud can also be used to report damage in communities for disaster assistance.
