The University of Hawaii Alumni Association Distinguished Alumni Awards pay tribute to those alumni who have made outstanding contributions to their professions and community, committed themselves to advancing the values and goals of the University of Hawaii and ensuring improvement in the quality of life for future generations. Dr. Patrick Sullivan, Oceanit founder and CEO, was honored with the award in 2013.
