Ian Kitajima Talks Design Thinking on Hawaii Public Radio

20 April 2022, Honolulu, HI | Design Thinking Lead and Oceanit Technology Sherpa, Ian Kitajima was on Hawaii Public Radio on Wednesday to chat about the upcoming 11th annual Design Thinking Hawaii Bootcamp. Sponsored by the Public Schools of Hawaii Foundation and hosted by Oceanit’s Stanford d.school facilitators, the 11th annual event will be held virtually on June 16-17.

Ian, one of the lead Design Thinking Bootcamp organizers, spoke with Bytemarks Café host Burt Lum about how organizations like the Hawaii Department of Education have used Design Thinking and what innovations were implemented as a result of the process.

This year’s Bootcamp will be held over two virtual half-day sessions. Each day will feature human-centered, team-based design learning and is free for Hawaii public school educators and students!
