When called upon to solve challenges, Oceanit combines transdisciplinary thinking with fundamental science to provide smarter, greener technologies for energy efficiency. We develop advanced sensors, AI systems, communications tools, sensing materials, and stimuli-responsive nano-materials for upstream, midstream, and downstream applications.

Our objective is to clean up old energy generation technologies and bridge the gap to a future built upon renewable energy sources. WHAT WE DO

Nano-coatings like Oceanit’s HeatX and HeatX+ can have an out-sized impact on greenhouse gas emissions today. Advanced AI and Machine Vision are being developed for more efficient oil & gas exploration and reduced environmental impact. High speed, subsea, wireless communications called ULTRA are being developed to alleviate the use of umbilicals criss-crossing our sea floors. Oceanit’s efforts in the energy sector span a vast array of technologies, expertise areas, and applications.

HeatX, specifically targeting ubiquitous equipment like heat exchangers and condensers, and implemented on a global scale could translate to a 1.45 billion metric tonne savings in CO2 emissions per year. Advanced materials and nano-treated surfaces would contribute to a 7-15% improvements in efficiency for power generation cycles, a huge benefit to the world and the operators of such facilities.
